Lisa Kimberley
Lisa Lau is an actress born and raised in Thornhill, Ontario.
At a young age, Lisa showed a strong interest in the performing arts and began studying music and dance.
Immediately after graduating with a BBA in Brand Communication and a minor in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University (she withdrew from a competitive co-op program to graduate earlier), she flew out to Los Angeles to study acting. There, she attended Aaron Speiser and Ivana Chubbuck Studios and instantly connected with the ability to tell stories through catharsis and free expression.
Returning to Toronto, Lisa continues to focus on her acting career. She studied at studios including: Professional Actors Lab, Second City, Centre for the Arts, and EVN Studios in Toronto. Lisa is an ACTRA member.
In 2013, she played the lead role in a short film named "Her Shadow" which screened at the 2014 Cannes Short Film Festival. This year, she has worked on independent films entitled "Ozion," "Poker Night," "The Car," and "Purple Squirrels". She will also be appearing in TV shows such as "Covert Affairs," "Backpackers," "Mayday," and "Mail Order Murders".
Lisa's commercial campaigns consists of companies including Cheerios, Listerine, Pizza Hut, IMAX, and Big Brother Canada, to name a few. She has also appeared in music videos such as “Kiss Goodnight” by Tyler Shaw. Her official website is www.lisalau.ca.
